NGO-in-a-Box

The NGO-in-a-box Advocacy Edition will be developed by a diverse editiorial team led by Tactical Tech. The aim of this edition is to provide NGOs and activists with a range of tools and materials to choose from in developing their advocacy work.

This box is currently under preparation and it's first release is planned to happen in fourth quarter of 2005.

Tools and materials will span from basic member databases and organising tools to more specialised techniques that can be used in advocacy work such as video and audio. On the one hand this edition will act as a vehicle for compiling a range of accessible tools especially developed for use in the NGO sector, on the other hand it will serve to make choices for groups faced with the daunting task of selecting FOSS in highly complex areas such as; audio editing or streaming tools. Collaboration will be pursued with groups who have existing training materials in each of these areas.
